The CGI U 2013 application deadline passed on January 30, 2013. More information on CGI U 2014 will be available over the next several months.
We are looking for individuals who have creative commitment ideas with concrete, detailed plans of action and passion and energy for a global issue.
Clinton Global Initiative University ConferenceCGI U is President Clinton’s initiative to engage the next generation of leaders on college campuses around the world.
Students interested in attending CGI U can apply as either an individual or a group. All applicants are required to make a Commitment to Action. A Commitment to Action is a concrete plan that addresses a pressing challenge in one of CGI U's five focus areas: Education, Environment and Climate Change, Peace and Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, or Public Health.
Students that submit a CGIU Commitment to Action are eligible to use this application as a grant application to the MCSE Summer Grants challenge that will take place during second semester. MCSE Summer Grants run from $3000-5000.
