Community Health Center of Burlington welcomes patients seeking health care and is sensitive to the needs and concerns of individuals in the LGBTQ community.  They also offer a comprehensive transgender health clinic.

Out in the Open, based out of Brattleboro, connects rural LGBTQ people to build community, visibility, knowledge, and power.  They believe in building, renewing, and supporting rural LGBTQ people, and in prioritizing their voices.  They offer support groups and trans-specific resources.

Outright Vermont is a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQQ) youth center and state-wide advocacy organization. The Mission of Outright is to build safe, healthy, and supportive environments for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth (ages 13-22). Our goal is to make Vermont the safest, most supportive and empowering state for queer youth in the United States of America.

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England offers high-quality, affordable health care, and the nation’s largest provider of sex education. Services include: birth control; HIV testing; STI testing, treatment, and vaccines; PrEP and PEP; and hormone therapy.

Pride Center of Vermont celebrates, educates, and advocates with and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Vermonters.

Queer Girl City Guide to Burlington gives an introduction to queer life in Burlington (45 mins north of Middlebury), including LGBTQ+ events, local nightlife scenes, and ways to get involved with activism. 

University of Vermont’s Medical Center on Trans Health offers resources and FAQs about health in the trans community.  This includes legal changes in name and gender, health insurance coverage, and information specific to youth/parents.

Vermont CARES is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of HIV-positive individuals, create compassionate communities, and prevent the spread of HIV by educating our youth and community on general.
