Middlebury Liberal Arts in Action (MLAA)
Middlebury Liberal Arts in Action (MLAA) is a communication/matchmaking platform for finding a community partner for research or class projects that last a full semester. MLAA facilitates reciprocal relationships between community partners and Middlebury faculty and students within the context of Middlebury classes and research programs. Projects can be for small groups or a full class (up to 30 students).
MLAA provides faculty the opportunity to share details of courses and research programs looking to incorporate community-connected work, and community partners to share project needs and ideas. Through this site, faculty members can:
- Search for partnership opportunities with community organizations.
- Submit a partnership idea.
- Explore partnership resources and view example partnership projects.
Want to connect with someone? Schedule a one-on-one consultation with the MLAA team at the Center for Community Engagement.
Community Engagement at the Language Schools
Community Engagement at the Language Schools is a cohort-based internship opportunity through which bilingual students facilitate collaborative, community-connected projects that bring together Language School students and community-based organizations and/or educational partners in a language-immersive environment.
