    Students present on campus are welcome to join the Rugby Club practices. Led by our coach and club-elected co-captains, practice consists of familiarizing players with ball handling, game rules, plays, and lots of fun!

    Join us for an informational session featuring Ola Pozor, an MA candidate in International Policy and Development at MIIS! You’ll hear about her MIIS experience, including tips on choosing the right graduate program, her research on women and peacebuilding in conflict transformation, landing a UN summer internship, immersive language and experiential coursework in the Balkans, and the best coffee shops in Monterey!  Food and Drinks provided.

  • Ofrenda Building Workshop

    Join us for one of our Dia De Los Muertos 2024 events, the annual Ofrenda Building Workshop hosted by Professor Olga Sanchez Saltveit. This session features a step-by-step lesson on building an ofrenda to honor loved ones who have passed, as well as cultural contexts regarding the use of the altar and the celebration of Dia De Los Muertos. The ofrenda will remain for the community until November 3rd, so please feel free to bring pictures of your loved ones to place on the ofrenda! Light refreshments will be served.
