  • WRITE FOR RIGHTS

    Come join Amnesty International at our annual Write for Rights letter-writing campaign! In Atwater dining hall from 6-7:30pm on Friday, December 3rd, we will be writing letters to legislators around the world to release people unlawfully detained or otherwise wronged in terms of human rights. People will come to the tables, read the cases, and write a letter based on a template or from their own perspectives to try to convince legislation to release the people/help the people whose human rights are in danger.

  • Hirschfield International Film Series: Hive

    Sundance triple award winner HIVE is a searing drama based on the true story of Fahrije, who has battled grief and financial struggle since her husband went missing during the war in Kosovo. In hope of providing for her family, she launches a business selling hot pepper preserves, a controversial act of independence that scandalizes her patriarchal village.
