    In this class, students will delve into the ancient Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu and its profound impact on various movement and healing practices across Asia, as well as its influence on modern dance forms. Rooted in the rich heritage of Kerala, Kalaripayattu has deeply influenced diverse Asian dance traditions, enriching movement practices across cultures. In this class, students explore the synergy between Kalaripayattu and contemporary dance, enhancing agility, speed, and expressiveness through fluid and dynamic movements.

    Intermediate/Advanced Ballet with Barbara Doyle-Wilch

    Ballet returns to the Dance Department this Spring. Classical Ballet technique in traditional ballet class structure. No pointe shoes, please.
    Each session is open to a maximum of 20 participants. PE credit is available for attendance at 8 classes. Previous dance experience in any form is recommended.
