  • French School Classical Concert

    Please join the School of French at the Middlebury Mahaney Arts Center (MAC) for their annual classical concert featuring amateur and professional musicians and directed by School music director, Clementine Dubost. A reception will be held for the artists and audience in the lower lobby following the performance.

    Stargazing at Mittelman Observatory

    Mittelman Observatory will again host stargazing open house nights this summer. These Observatory events are scheduled for Wednesday evenings, June 29, July 20, July 27, and August 3, from 9:30 PM until 11:00 PM, weather permitting.

    Saturn will be in the evening sky on some of these dates. A variety of interesting stars, star clusters, and nebulae will be visible through the Observatory’s telescopes. The Observatory includes a 24-inch telescope in a dome and smaller telescopes on the roof deck.

    Serving in the Peace Corps is a great way to immerse yourself in a new culture, utilize your language skills, and have the experience of a lifetime. This information session is specifically targeted toward language students and will touch on the amazing work Peace Corps Volunteers accomplish abroad. It will also focus on opportunities Volunteers can take advantage of once they return from service.

    Yoga can be tremendously enjoyable and of terrific benefit to a golfer, both physically and mentally. In our class, we will attend to both body and mind, with an emphasis on having ourselves a good time. Our routine will be accessible to most everyone, mixed with a few challenges to keep you on your toes. Even if yoga isn’t your thing, I can practically guarantee you’ll love the relaxation meditation we’ll do at the end of each class!
