ArchivesSpace is a searchable database for unique, historical items such as letters, reports, diaries, scrapbooks, meeting minutes, photographs, and Middlebury College records.

Digitized Archival Materials

Search the Internet Archive at Middlebury for digital copies of items in our collections, such as photographs; letters; maps; Middlebury College yearbooks, newspapers, and magazines; unique manuscript items; College documents; and other archival materials.

Archived Websites

Archive-It hosts an archive of websites, blogs, social media, and other web-based projects created by members of the Middlebury community.

Students and faculty are encouraged to submit URLs for websites, blogs, and social media presences to Special Collections for web archiving. Email URLs to specialcollections@middlebury.edu.

Student theses

The College Archives retains honors undergraduate theses and DML dissertations through 2019. 

To determine if a thesis is in the Archives, search our listing of undergraduate theses and senior work (go/specialtheses/). Honors theses and DML dissertations are available to view in our reading room.
