DEAR MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS,
Now that we’ve been working with Oracle HCM for a few months, we want to focus on how to make it work for you. The best way to achieve that, of course, is through knowledge, so we’re happy to introduce the first edition of the “Manager’s Tip Sheet.”
Our goal is to create a quick way for you to learn something useful about HCM and to share your knowledge with everyone else. If you’ve discovered your own ways to make HCM easier, please tell us about them so everyone can benefit.
COMING SOON: ‘CHANGE CHAMPS’
We’ve recruited several colleagues to serve as “Oracle Change Champions.” These folks will receive additional training from our HR Business Partners, Brian and Chelsea, and will become the first points of contact to help employees learn about HCM. Our champions won’t replace tech support, but they will be able to quickly answer questions that don’t require the expertise of the Helpdesk or Human Resources. We’ll start that training the week of October 12 and hold additional trainings for any interested staff on employee self-service (time cards and absence module) and manager self-service, hosted by our HR team.
TIP OF THE WEEK:
Did you know you can easily view any org chart at Middlebury? To see someone’s organization (team), log into Oracle HCM and follow this path:
Me > directory > search for your intended person> click the org chart icon next to their name (see diagram below).
