Accreditation
Middlebury’s most recent comprehensive evaluation for reaccreditation by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) was in 2019.
Provost Jeff Cason and Associate Provost for Planning LeRoy Graham co-chaired the Reaccreditation Steering Committee that oversaw this process.
Self-Study
A significant part of the evaluation includes writing a self-study, a 100-page document that covers the standards for accreditation as defined by NECHE. LeRoy Graham and Adela Langrock drafted this document with input from the Steering Committee and individuals and groups from across the institution.
