Strategic Engagement
Middlebury’s Strategic Framework emerged from a broad-based community process called Envisioning Middlebury. The framework provides guidance to make decisions about what initiatives we will develop in the coming years.
The Office of the Provost staff supports faculty and staff colleagues in their use of the strategic framework to engage in creating Middlebury’s future. We are available to support individuals and groups who would like to propose new initiatives and ideas.
This support includes:
- Identifying Partners: We may know of someone you can work with to move your idea forward.
- Navigating Middlebury: We may be able to help with policies and procedures to facilitate what you want to accomplish.
- Financial Resources: The provost’s office administers internal funds that can support ideas that align with Middlebury’s strategic framework.
We look forward to hearing your ideas and working with you. Please contact Lisa LaRose at llarose@middlebury.edu to arrange a consultation with a staff person from the Provost’s office.
