At a square dance, of all places

Before breakfast, those two times I went

Outside the Barn, dallying between classes

In Davison Library, curled by the fire

By the Pond, laughing at Huddle’s reading

Near Lake Pleiad, when we got lost overnight 

Through the years, the memory of that summer persists
