Staff

As you know, the Middlebury Staff Council is a vital part of our community, dedicated to making Middlebury a great place to work. As staff employees, you have the power to shape our workplace and influence change. By joining the Staff Council, you can help us do just that.

The Staff Council is elected by staff employees like you, and acknowledged by the Board of Trustees, to establish priorities for the staff. We listen to your ideas, opinions, problems, and concerns, and consider other matters that impact the well-being of our community. By organizing data, staff views, and other information into reports, we can formulate recommendations for actions, changes, and solutions, as required.

As a member of the Staff Council, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of Middlebury. Your voice matters, and we need your input to help us make informed decisions and advocate for positive change. By working together, we can ensure that our workplace is one where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered.

Our responsibilities include meeting with the Senior Leadership Group on a regular basis to communicate reports and recommendations. By doing so, we can ensure that the needs and concerns of staff employees are heard by those in charge and acted upon.

Please consider joining the Middlebury Staff Council and helping us make a positive impact on our workplace. We welcome your input, ideas, and contributions, and we look forward to working with you to make Middlebury the best it can be.
