Wayne Edwards joined the faculty of Middlebury College as a Visiting Associate Professor of Economics in 2011. He was an Associate Professor at the University of Alaska Anchorage from 2002 through 2011and also taught at Dartmouth College in 2008 and 2009-2010.
He began his career researching private sector unionization in the United States. More recently, he has investigated issues in migration in rural places and service access barriers in the arctic. His current research agenda involves the economic consequences of indigenous peoples’ land rights throughout the world.
