You Can Go Home Again!

For Homecoming 2013, alumni flocked to campus, relived memories of their college days, and made some new ones. From a football victory, tailgate parties, and the opening of the new squash center to thought-provoking panels, music, and storytelling, the weekend offered plenty of chances to reconnect with friends and with a place you love. Welcome and College Update with President Liebowitz

Suzanne Daley ’96.5, president of MCAA, and President Ronald D. Liebowitz welcomed alumni back to campus. President Liebowitz provided an overview of Middlebury today, sharing insights into how the College is defining a liberal arts education for the 21st century and answering questions from the audience.

Student Panel: Ideas into Action


Rana Abdelhamid ’15, Will Potter ’14.5, Mzwakithi “Prestige” Shongwe ’16, and Joanie Thompson ’14 shared their Middlebury stories with alumni. They each found ways to apply what they were learning in the classroom and put their ideas into action through the Programs on Creativity and Innovation, MiddCORE, and the Center for Social Entrepreneurship.
