Michigan State University
Ph.D., University of Kansas
I graduated from Middlebury in 1990 and received my Ph.D. from the University of Kansas in 1997. I am currently an Associate Professor of Russian at Michigan State University, after previous stops at Dartmouth College and Drew University. This will be my first year as Director of the School of Russian after five summers teaching; in 2001 and 2002 I was the lead teacher for Level Two, and in 2007-2009 I led Level Four. I am very happy to be back again this summer as the lead teacher for Level Four. When I'm not teaching Russian I can be found playing with my kids Nicholas and Rachel.
