Supriti Jaya Ghosh is a 2012 Middlebury graduate, with a joint degree in Geology and Environmental Studies. She received a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke University in 2015 with a concentration in Coastal Environmental Management. 

Jaya fills her days in Washington, DC as the Senior Maritime Policy Advisor with the U.S. Committee on the Marine Transportation System (CMTS). The CMTS is an interagency committee that coordinates maritime policy across 25 different Federal agencies. 


Nora Greenglass HeadshotNora L. Greengrass ‘03
Attorney-Advisor at the Office of General Counsel, US Environmental Protection Agency

Nora graduated from Middlebury in 2003 with a joint degree in geology and environmental studies. After spending a year as Middlebury's assistant crew coach, she attended Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment, from which she received a Master of Environmental Management. She then spent several years at the Woods Hole Research Center working on issues related to climate change, land use, and sustainable development, before attending Vermont Law School. Nora now works as an attorney-advisor in the U.S. EPA's Office of General Counsel. 


Christopher Rodgers HeadshotChristopher Rodgers ‘06
Senior Solutions Architect, Clearion

Chris Rodgers has 10 years of professional experience utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and LiDAR technology to solve complex operational challenges for electric utilities. Prior to his role as Clearion’s Senior Solutions Architect and running their northeastern office, Chris worked as a technical liaison between the field operations, engineering, and GIS teams for Utility Risk Management Corporation, a LiDAR services company. He received his undergraduate degree at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT where he also spent a year as a member of the Geography Department faculty as an assistant professor teaching GIS to undergraduate students. 


Shelley Sayward HeadshotShelley Sayward ‘96
VP and Asst General Counsel, Casella Waste Systems

Shelley Sayward is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Casella Waste Systems, Inc. in Rutland, Vermont. She received her B.A. from Middlebury College in 1996 and launched into an eight year career in sales and marketing before commencing a four year law clerkship program in the State of Vermont. Shelley has held multiple roles in the Casella legal department and became a member of the Vermont Bar in 2008. She received her SHRM-SCP and SPHR designation in April 2015 and is the Legislative and Government Affairs Director on the SHRM Vermont State Council. In addition, Shelley has served on various municipal planning and development boards, is an alumni admissions volunteer at Middlebury College, has acted in an advisory capacity for Rutland EVOLVE and is on the NWRA Women’s Council.
