As a member of the first cohort of a new, fully funded scholars’ program, Mohamed Hussein ‘17 will pursue a PhD at Stanford University.
The winner told the audience that “sometimes the wisest words are the simplest.”
The College honored students for their “ongoing discovery of common purpose” through community engagement, said President Laurie L. Patton at the event.
Zach Berzolla ’18 led the winter term class whose work took a first place prize in the DOE’s ‘Race to Zero.’
The annual event brought students out of labs and classrooms to share their intellectual power with the public.
The College’s fifth class will be inducted at a ceremony and dinner on November 3.
