Energy2028 is a true collaborative effort. Following a resolution passed by the Trustees of Middlebury in 2019, a steering committee was established to advise the President and senior leaders on the implementation and progress of the initiative.

The steering committee is co-chaired by the Associate Vice President of Facilities and the Dean of Sustainability and Environmental affairs and is composed of individuals from all corners of campus.

In addition to the steering committee, the important steps of on-the-ground implementation are shepherded by members of Facilities and Sustainability & Environmental Affairs staff as well as a myriad of departments and organizations across the College.

Energy2028 Steering Committee

A multifaceted group of faculty, staff, students, and community members is charged with supporting the continued development of Energy2028. Each year, students are encouraged to apply for a position on the Steering Committee. We gather for public fora every year and invite the community to share progress, feedback, questions, and ideas for future development. Please reach out!
