The Department of Event Management collaborates closely with Middlebury Catering and Dining Services to create memorable, successful events for student organizations, faculty, staff, and non-college clients. 
 

Event Management/MiddCatering Policies*

  • Resources and staffing are limited, and so pre-planning and early communication regarding events with catering support is critical. MiddCatering is currently unable to accept new catering orders unless the requested event is scheduled in a licensed space.
  • Event requests for licensed spaces will be considered on a case-by-case basis and approved only if resources are available to support them.
  • Middlebury dining halls (Proctor, Ross, and Atwater Dining Halls), Kirk Center, Wilson CafĂ©, McCullough Grille, Bread Loaf Inn dining room, Bread Loaf Inn kitchen, Bread Loaf Little Theater, and Bread Loaf West Lawn are licensed exclusively by MiddCatering. By law, self-catering and non-college caterers are not permitted in these spaces. MiddCatering solely licenses the Snowbowl Lodge, kitchen, porches, and lawns on a seasonal basis.
