The Department of Event Management collaborates closely with Middlebury Catering and Dining Services to create memorable, successful events for student organizations, faculty, staff, and non-college clients. 
 

Event Management/MiddCatering Policies*

  • Resources and staffing are limited, and so pre-planning and early communication regarding events with catering support is critical. Please note that Catering currently has select spring 2025 dates that are now blocked based on availability.
  • Because of the Grille’s current staffing levels, MiddCatering cannot support events in spaces in McCullough Student Center during the 2025 winter and spring terms. Events in Wilson Hall, the Crest Room, and Mitchell Green Lounge may self-cater or use a non-college caterer to support their event. Catering is supporting events in other campus spaces, however.
  • Please submit your event request via 25Live to Event Management before submitting your CaterTrax order.
  • Event confirmations from Event Management flagged with MiddCatering do not guarantee that MiddCatering can support your event.
  • Middlebury dining halls (Proctor, Ross, and Atwater Dining Halls), Kirk Center, Wilson CafĂ©, McCullough Grille, Bread Loaf Inn dining room, Bread Loaf Inn kitchen, Bread Loaf Little Theater, and Bread Loaf West Lawn are licensed exclusively by MiddCatering. By law, self-catering and non-college caterers are not permitted in these spaces. MiddCatering solely licenses the Snowbowl Lodge, kitchen, porches, and lawns on a seasonal basis.
