Middlebury undergraduates can attend the Bread Loaf School of English as rising seniors and earn six semester-hours of graduate-level English credit over six intensive and immersive weeks at our campuses in Ripton, Oxford, and MIIS. You can apply your credits to your undergraduate degree or get a jump start on your MA in English.

    Each week will provide something new and different according to students’ requests - including making art and learning calligraphy; Mystical topics of spells, amulets, and witchcraft in ancient Judaism and contemporary Israel; watching Israeli films and shows; graffiti in Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem; listening to Israeli music; meeting interesting people from various sectors of Israel; and cooking and eating lots of Israeli foods.

    Join us Thursday night to chat about what it takes to start and grow an organic farm in Vermont. Henry and Gabby from Old Farm Road will be discussing the science of soil and sustainable farming practices.
