Applying to Jobs

There are two ways to get hired into a job.

WorkableApply through Workable to be hired into a job you have never worked before.

Rehire Form: If you are returning to a job you have already worked, reach out to your supervisor and they will rehire you via our Student Rehire Form.

Notification of Hire

Once you have been hired into a position by the hiring manager, you will receive an email from StaffingServices@middlebury.edu. This email will include your start date, wage and supervisor. You may not work until the date specified on this confirmation email.

Working before your start date will cause a delay in accessing your timecard in Oracle and receiving compensation for your time worked.

For questions about your schedule, start date, or specific job duties, contact your direct supervisor.

Completing your I-9

If you are new to working at Middlebury, you will receive an electronic I-9 invitation from HireRight once an offer has been submitted via Workable by your supervisor. You will need to have specific identification documents with you to meet section 2 criteria. We cannot accept copies or photos.

This List of Acceptable Documents for I-9 is necessary to complete the I-9 form. You cannot work or be paid until this paperwork has been completed. This only needs to be completed once during your time as a student at Middlebury.

Accessing Oracle

  1. Log into Oracle. You should have access to Oracle once you have received the onboarding email. If you attempt to log in any sooner you will receive an error and could get locked out.
  2. Complete your onboarding tasks in Oracle. More information about onboarding  tasks may be found here.
