Service Improvements

We have updated the Events Calendar with an entirely new interface. There is also a new page at http://go.middlebury.edu/middcalendars with quick links to the various institutional calendars.

  • Drupal media_library_edit 8.x-2.0
  • Drupal token 8.x-1.9
  • Drupal twig_tweak 8.x-2.9
  • Drupal views_menu_children_filter 8.x-1.0-rc1
  • MediaWiki 1.31.11 & 1.31.12
  • WordPress nextgen-gallery plugin 3.5.0
  • WordPress post-types-order plugin 1.9.5.4
  • WordPress instagram-feed plugin 2.6.2
  • WordPress seriously-simple-podcasting plugin 2.5.2
  • WordPress the-events-calendar plugin 5.3.1

  • WordPress responsive theme 4.5.0

Fixes and Tweaks

  • We’ve applied an update to the new authentication system for WordPress and Canvas to restore access for certain groups that were left out after the change on Tuesday. Notably, retirees who retained a Middlebury account can once again access blogs such as MiddPoints and the Classifieds.
  • Footers on the Drupal 8 Offices and Services site can now be edited by Site Administrators.
  • Added the menu navigation for the TLM and Translation and Interpretation programs at the Middlebury Institute to the in-language versions of their program pages.
  • The Media Library widget is now correctly applied to all components using an image field in Drupal 8. It had been left off of Event Schedules and some components that are used by only a single site, like Library Search.
