Name: Shinku
Age: 4
Coloration / Breed:
Black, domestic short hair
Place of Origin:
South bank of the Winooski River (Burlington, VT)
Adopted by:
Patrick Wallace, Digital Projects & Archives Librarian
Favorite Toy:
Shoelaces.
Special Talents:
She prefers to sleep under covers, but is not exactly clear about the difference between blankets and “clothes that a human is currently wearing”.
Fun facts:
Shinku is about 10 minutes older than her twin sister, and quite certain that makes her the leader.
She is skeptical that the outside world exists.
She has a small freckle in her left eye.
Her favorite TV show is “Birds in Snow” on YouTube.
If she had a library card…
Shinku would check out Rozen Maiden, because there’s nothing better to read while sharpening your claws on the tatami floor than a manga about your namesake.
