CTLR uses Midd Apply to manage many of its application processes.
Below are general Midd Apply FAQs. For additional information:
To refresh your connection to Midd Apply:
Try a fresh browser: If you have trouble logging in or continuing your application, first make sure you are logged out in Chrome. Next open a new Chrome browser. Log into your Middlebury Google account with your Middlebury email address and password. After you successfully log into you Middlebury Google account, then paste https://middlebury.smapply.io/ into the address bar to go to Middlebury Apply and then go to Log In and Middlebury SSO.
Try a private (incognito) browser tab: Open a new private (incognito) tab in your browser. Go to https://middlebury.smapply.io/ and Log In with Middlebury SSO. You will be prompted to sign into Middlebury with your Middlebury username and password using authentication (if set up).
Each program has a customized application. Please follow the instructions they provide on their website or within the application to complete your application. Remember to use the green Submit button after you have completed the necessary application tasks.
For general questions navigating the Apply platform see the Apply Applicant FAQs.
Q I am a faculty/staff who completed a recommendation or review previously. How do I submit an application?
If your Midd Apply user account only offers you a Recommender or Reviewer option when you log in, you need to have the applicant role added to your account. Email Colleen Norden to have it added.
The recommender forms with directions are customized for each program. The directions are also included in the email request a recommender receives.
For an overview, see the Apply Recommender FAQs.
You can log into Midd Apply at any time to see if you have pending recommendation requests without the email. Choose the recommender role if you are prompted when logging in.
