Michelle N. Gibson creates works, teaches master classes, and presents lectures that are firmly rooted in her own “New Orleans Second Line Aesthetic" that involves improvised movement, defined footwork, brass band music and the embrace of communal ritual.

The class structure includes history, theory, technique and practice. The presentation of information through full embodiment: NOLA essence reflected in voice, facial expression, body language, and eye contact. Technical proficiency of movement is emphasized (rhythm, intention, physicality).
