La Maison Franςaise
51 Franklin Street

The Maison Franςaise houses eight students and a native-speaking French assistant. Maison Franςaise residents pledge to speak only French while in the house.   Students must apply to live in the house and it is considered for each semester.

With the Cercle Franςais, it organizes a variety of activities, including parties, the weekly café franςais, a cinéclub, and an annual trip to Montréal.

If you are interested in applying to live in the French House you may submit an application by visiting the College’s housing webpage (go/housing) and navigating to the “Interest Houses” link on the left side bar.  An all-student email will be sent in advance of the spring term application process for residency for the following year.  Be sure to carefully consider your application; should an offer be extended and you accept, your commitment is final.  Be sure to only commit to one housing program, i.e. Residential Life, Social or Interest House, SuperBlock, etc., for any one term - Fall, Winter, or Spring.
