There are currently about 30 majors in the geology program, either as single geology majors or as joint majors with environmental studies. There are many paths into the geology program via any of our five introductory courses. For more information, check out the specific requirements for the major or minor in Geology.
The senior program is one of the great strengths of our major. Seniors complete a senior seminar plus 1 unit of senior thesis work throughout an entire academic year.
