Marcos Lopez is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Sociology and an affiliate with the Center for the Comparative Study of Race and Ethnicity (CCSRE) at Middlebury College. He completed his PhD in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz where his dissertation research compared the organization of production and work within the fresh strawberry industry. He has carried out extensive field research within farm worker communities in rural California and Mexico.

Lopez teaches courses on Latina/os in the U.S., immigration, and research methods.
