We operate three libraries on our Middlebury, Vermont, campuses, and one library on our Monterey, California, campus for the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.

Davis Family Library

At a roomy 143,000 square feet—roughly 3 acres—the Davis Family Library on Storrs Avenue boasts 725 seats; wired and wireless networks; key service desks immediately accessible from a spacious, sunlit atrium; state-of-the-art classrooms; group study rooms; and offices for staff members supporting library and technology, as well as the Center for Teaching, Learning and Research.

Armstrong Library

The Armstrong Science Library, named for James I. and Carol Aymar Armstrong, is located in McCardell Bicentennial Hall. It provides curriculum and research support in the fields of biology, chemistry and biochemistry, computer science, environmental studies, geography, geology, physics, and psychology.

Davison Library

The Wilfred Davison Memorial Library (located on the Bread Loaf Mountain Campus, in Ripton, Vermont) supports the Bread Loaf School of English and the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conferences each summer.

Middlebury Institute Library

Located at the center of Monterey campus at Middlebury Institute of International Studies, the Middlebury Institute Library serves students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
