The Martin Luther King Spiritual Choir exists to encourage students to fully explore their musical skills and talents whether they have had many years of lessons or none at all. We sing easily accessible traditional arrangements for the most part and more intricate arrangements occasionally. We perform a concert during the fall semester, and during the spring semester. Students, faculty, staff, and community members make up our membership. It is encouraged that you attend all rehearsals and if possible, memorize your music. As with all musical ensembles you must take 2 semesters to get one (1) credit and you should discuss this with the Registrar and/or Professor Greg Vitercik, head of the music department. For further information about the ensemble please contact Dr. François S. Clemmons, conductor at Clemmons@Middlebury.edu.
