Jazz Workshop

The Jazz Workshop provides a weekly opportunity for jazz students to work on repertoire development, jazz idiom and theory, improvisation and playing in small groups.  It is open to any competent musician; previous jazz experience is not necessary.  .

Auditions are optional, though they help to organize the workshop.  Auditions are scheduled during the first week of classes of each term.  A description of the audition process can be found at the MiddJazz blog site, http://sites.middlebury.edu/middjazz/   If you choose not to audition, you’re welcome to just show up at the first JW meeting.

The Jazz Workshop meets Thursdays, 4:30 - 6:30 pm in MCFA room 221, beginning in the second week of classes in each term.
