Noah Silverstein '11

A native Vermonter, Noah Silverstein graduated from Middlebury College in 2011 with a double major in neuroscience and music. While at Middlebury he performed in solo voice and piano recitals, in opera and musical theatre productions, and with the Middlebury College Choir. Since graduation Noah has lived in Massachusetts, first spending three years studying the genetics and neuroimaging correlates of schizophrenia at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and then entering the combined MD/PhD program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Noah is currently pursuing doctoral research into the role the immune system plays in neuropsychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders, with a primary focus on depression and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Noah has continued to sing both tenor and countertenor as well as to play piano and compose.
