Courses in religion are among the most popular at Middlebury, regularly enrolling more than 600 students per year. Currently, there are some 40 students majoring in religion. Although some continue their study of religion in academic and ministerial programs, going on to religious vocations, our majors have pursued a wide variety of professions, including law, medicine, business, and the environment. In fact, many students have found that the study of religion provides an excellent base from which to take full advantage of a liberal education.
