Meyers Prize

The Ann and Edward Meyers Prize was established in 1986 by Mona Meyers Wheatley ’56. Awarded to a graduating senior who, in the judgment of the religion department faculty, has given evidence of exceptional ability in understanding, expression, and integration of ideas in the area of religious study.

Moss Prize

The Michael Moss ’16 Prize in Buddhist Studies was established in 2017 by Robert J. Moss and Michela F. Nonis ’16 as an endowed fund dedicated to recognizing a graduating senior who has demonstrated dedicated pursuit of the study of Buddhist theology and spirituality to deepen his/her understanding of the rich traditions of Buddhist thought.

Woolsey Prizes

The Theodore S. Woolsey Prizes were established in 1933 by Theodore S. Woolsey, Middlebury College trustee, 1922-1923. Awarded to the two undergraduates doing the most outstanding work in the study of sacred texts.
