Shantá Lindo ’10 is extremely excited to return to Middlebury as an admissions counselor. Originally from New York City, she definitely had to get used to a small town like Middlebury, but once she did, she realized that a great many resources lie at her finger-tips in a town like this. As an avid reader, and recreational writer, she found her niche within the English and American Literature department, but not before having taken classes in many other disciplines, as well as trying new things that have helped her discover the things that are most important to her. Shantá had a wonderful experience in her last four years at Middlebury, and she is really looking forward to what the future holds throughout her time at Emma Willard.
