Each winter, those who are completing their academic work at Middlebury with the end of winter term hold a weekend-long celebration. The February Celebration, so called because most of the students completing their work began their Middlebury careers as February first-years, or Febs, traditionally includes all of the graduates making their way down the bottom half of the Allen Trail at the Middlebury College Snow Bowl. Many ski or snowboard down skillfully, while others walk or snow shoe.

The 2008 event took place February 1-2 and included events on campus for friends, family and the graduates, many of whom return in May to receive their diplomas during Commencement.

A student committee planned the festivities.  If you have any questions or suggestions about the festivities, please contact Heather Cahill in the Alumni and Parent Programs Office at hcahill@middlebury.edu.
