New York in the 1920s is captured in Andrew Lippa's jazzy musical from 2000. The Wild Party tells the story of the reckless relationship between two vaudeville performers who decide to throw a party to end all parties. Directed by Douglas Anderson; musical direction by Carol Christensen; Band Leader Dick Forman; and choreography by Schuyler Beeman '10. For mature audiences.

Cynthia Packert, professor of history of art and architecture, offers a lecture exploring the romance, myths, politics, and film representations of Muslim-Hindu relations in contemporary India. She also looks at Mughal and Rajput paintings as sources for contemporary Indian film.

Snoo Wilson's poignant and fantastical play follows the life and death of Alan Turing-code-breaker, officer of the Order of the British Empire, and father of the modern computer-whose brilliant mathematical career was marred by his tragic biography.

This young Russian pianist was nominated for BBC Music Magazine's 2008 Best Instrumental CD of the Year for a "forthright, beautifully weighted" recording. His concert includes Rachmaninoff's 13 Preludes, op. 32; selections from compatriot Shostakovich's 24 Preludes and Fugues; and works by Chopin and Franck.
