Policies and Guidelines

Please arrive early enough to be in your seat before the time noted on your ticket. Latecomer seating is at the discretion of the management. Please note: especially for sellout performances, your ticket is valid until curtain time only. If your seat is not claimed by the time listed on your ticket, we may admit customers off the standby list in your place. Please plan accordingly for an on-time arrival.

Please turn off cell phones and electronic devices prior to the performance.

Food and drinks are not permitted in the performance spaces, with the exception of bottled water.

Photography and recording of performances are not permitted.

Smoking is prohibited in all buildings at Middlebury. This includes e-cigarettes and cannabis. Read the smoking policy>>

Every individual, regardless of age, requires a ticket for all arts performances. As a courtesy to audience members and performers, please use discretion regarding a young child’s ability to sit quietly and enjoy a performance. Policies may vary for athletics or other events.

All ticket sales are final. No refunds are available unless a performance is cancelled.

Ticket exchanges are available only for tickets to a different date and time of the same production at the same venue. For example, a ticket to Hamlet at Wright Theatre on Friday may be exchanged for a ticket to Hamlet at Wright Theatre on Saturday. Tickets are only exchangeable up to the curtain time of the original ticket. Once the performance is underway, the ticket may no longer be exchanged for a different performance.
