Ron Mordechai Makleff

Ron Mordechai Makleff is a historian, teacher, activist, and community archivist. Trained in the history of Early Modern and Medieval Europe, he also teaches about communal thought, insurgent literacy, Victorian medievalism, colonial encounters, and the origins of the state.

He is currently working on his first book, Archive Sovereigns: Technicians of Legitimacy and Insurgent Literacy  in the Low Countries, 1301-1681.
