Sarika Sharma

Sarika Sharma is an Assistant Teaching Professor of First Year Seminar at Middlebury. Her research examines how ideas and knowledge transfer across organizations. She explores those questions in the context of open science, data management, and digital research. Her work examines the organizational forms, structures, routines, and practices to preserve, manage and share scientific data. She brings together perspectives from organizational studies, science and technology studies and information science. Currently, she is developing two critical data studies courses. Prior to that, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Critical Data Studies Lab at University of Texas-Austin.
