Middlebury is saddened by the loss of Drucilla “Drue” Gensler, trustee from 1994 to 2004 and benefactor to theatre and women’s studies programs.
The former assistant professor has passed away at the age of 85. The college’s current research vessel, R/V David Folger, is named in his honor.
Alumnus and trustee was an avid supporter of the College’s physics department and observatory.
