Our research support services are open to everyone, and we encourage you to contact a librarian in person or online to describe your information need. Our interactions with you will be guided by the policies below.
Our Email a Midd Librarian page will send a message to Middlebury Librarians. Librarians strive to respond to messages within 24 hours. Responses may take longer on Saturdays and during College breaks.
Questions from Middlebury College students, faculty and staff receive the highest priority. We also answer questions pertaining to Middlebury College as quickly as possible.
Questions from the Media
In most cases, we are unable to speak on behalf of the College or the Library. Questions from the media will be answered by the person or office who is best suited to meeting the information need. Some questions will be redirected to the Media Relations contact at the Office of Communications and Marketing.
