Good luck on Finals! (Winter Recess Library Updates)

Before you hunker down for finals and head home for the holidays we have a few library updates to share.
Library Hours
The Davis Family Library has extended hours for final exams and is open until 1 AM Monday Dec 8th through Thursday, December 11th. Friday and Saturday hours are 7:30 AM – 10 PM and 9 AM – 5 PM, respectively. On Sunday, December 14th the library will be open 9 AM - 1 AM, and then Monday, December 15th the library will be open 7:30 AM – 1 AM. December 16th through Dec 19th the library will be open 9 AM to 5 PM. The Davis Library will be closed for winter break December 20th through January 3rd.
Interlibrary Loan Dates
Interlibrary Loan services will stop mailing on December 15, 2025. This means that we will not ship physical items (for example, print books) through the mail after this date. If you have Interlibrary Loan materials that are due between December 15 and January 5, please feel free to keep them over the break!
You may request materials from other libraries after December 15, but you will not receive physical items until January. Interlibrary Loan will be closed from Wednesday, December 17, 2025, until Monday, January 5, 2026.
You may request renewal of Interlibrary Loan materials online in ILLiad. If your item is overdue, you may request renewal by emailing mdyill@middlebury.edu.
