Winter Recess Library Updates

Happy Winter from the Library! We have a few updates to share before the start of Winter Recess.
Library Hours
The Davis Family Library has extended hours for final exams and is open until 1 AM Sunday Dec 8th through Thursday, December 12th. Friday and Saturday hours are 7:30 AM – 10 PM and 9 AM – 5 PM, respectively. On Sunday, December 15th the library will be open 9 AM - 1 AM, and then Monday, December 16th the library will be open 7:30 AM – 10 PM. December 17th through Dec 20th the library will be open 9 AM to 5 PM. The Davis Library will be closed for winter break December 21st through January 1st.
Armstrong Library will be open 7:45 AM - Midnight, Monday December 9th - Thursday December 12th. Then hours will vary until close, Monday, December 16th at 5 PM. Please note that the Armstrong Library is closing and transitioning to be the Quantitative Center.
Interlibrary Loan Dates
Interlibrary Loan services will stop all mailing services on December 15, 2024. This means that we will neither return nor receive physical items (for example, print books) through the mail after this date. If you have Interlibrary Loan materials that are due between December 17 and January 4, please feel free to keep them over the break!
You may request materials from other libraries after December 15, but you will not receive them until January. Interlibrary Loan will be closed from Monday, December 16, 2024 until Thursday, January 2, 2025.
You may request renewal of Interlibrary Loan materials online in ILLiad. If your item is overdue, you may request renewal by emailing mdyill@middlebury.edu.
