Middlebury College Campus Parking Information
Middlebury College provides sufficient parking on campus for registered vehicles when parked in designated campus parking lots by permit type. College policy prohibits students from parking on nearby town streets, roadways, or other private areas.
2025-2026 Academic Year student parking permits are now available for purchase as of August 2, 2025. If the vehicle is registered and the permit is ordered between August 2, 2025, and September 10, 2025, the cost of a full year permit will be $125.00 and the cost of a semester permit will be $75.00.
*Resolve Your Outstanding Parking Violations*
- Individuals with outstanding parking violations from previous semesters will be unable to register a vehicle for the current year until the violations are resolved.
- A hold is placed on any parking account that includes outstanding/unpaid violations.
- Utilize the Middlebury College Parking Portal to Manage Outstanding Citations .
- Unregistered vehicles may only be parked in the Track Lot (310 Porter Field Road) temporarily.
- Unregistered vehicles parked in any other location on campus (Including adjacent town roadways) are subject to further parking enforcement actions up to and including immobilization and/or loss of parking privileges on campus.
Please allow 48 hours after payment of outstanding violations before accessing the parking portal to register your vehicle and purchase a permit.
If you have difficulties logging into the parking portal or registering your vehicle, contact parking@middlebury.edu. Please provide a screen shot of the error message along with the type of device and browser that you are using to log in.

Parking Areas by Permit
All faculty, staff, and enrolled students (including students living off campus) are eligible to park on the campus. Parking spots are not guaranteed, even if you have registered your vehicle with Public Safety.
We cannot guarantee parking will be available. A permit is merely permission to park legally in one of the college lots.
