Funding up to $1500 is available for faculty needing financial support to pursue new directions in teaching.

The Pedagogy Enrichment Fund (PEF) facilitates a wide range of pedagogical explorations. In past years, funding has assisted faculty in preparing new modules within a course, developing a new course, or learning different approaches to teaching. Faculty have attended workshops or conferences on pedagogy, purchased materials for a new class exercise, or even brought a speaker to campus to present on curricular development.

This fund is for unusual expenses in a faculty member’s work and is not meant to be tapped frequently; it is also not a source for funding speakers on a non-pedagogy topic or to help cover expenses to a scholarly conference. Applicants, please plan ahead. This is a modest fund that is often exhausted before the end of the academic year.

For funding to support other elements of faculty work, please consult the options on this funding page.

The limit for a request is $1,500. Requests for funding will be reviewed on a weekly basis. Proposals will be reviewed until the available funding is fully allocated.

To apply, submit the online application.

Those awarded funding will be expected to email a brief impact report to the CTLR.
