Madeleine began working at the college in the fall of 2007 after many years at the University of Southern Maine in Portland where she was an administrative assistant in the American and New England Studies program.
As an Assistant in the Administration, Madeleine's duties include administration of the Academic Enrichment Fund and organizing events sponsored by the office of the Dean of the Faculty, the Dean of Curriculum, the Provost's office and the President's office, such as the Carol Rifelj Faculty Lecture Series, the Grant Recipients Reception, the Faculty and Staff Articles and Creative Works Reception, the Faculty Authors Reception, the Perkins Award events, the Van de Velde Lecture and the endowed professorship Inaugural Lecture Series.
Madeleine also coordinates the course response process, administers the leave moving program and the emeriti funds, organizes departmental external reviews and several events for new faculty, including orientation, and the Winter Term New Faculty Seminar.
