Biology/Neuroscience

We invite applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, joint with the Department of Biology and the Program in Neuroscience, in molecular neurophysiology, to begin September 2013. Applicants should have a Ph.D. and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in both teaching and research. Teaching responsibilities include: an introductory level course in genetics and cell biology or introductory neuroscience, an upper level course in animal physiology, and other courses in the applicant’s field that can strengthen and broaden our course offerings. The successful candidate is expected to establish an active research program involving undergraduates, preferably using an invertebrate system.
