Comparative Politics
The Department of Political Science, invites applications for an entry-level, tenure-track position in Comparative Politics to begin in September 2013. We seek candidates with a regional specialization in the Middle East and North Africa, and competency in Arabic or one of the other major Middle Eastern languages. Teaching responsibilities would include an introductory course in Comparative Politics, and two-to-three upper level offerings dealing with the region. Some of these upper level offerings will contribute to our interdisciplinary programs in International and Global Studies and/or International Politics and Economics. Appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor or Instructor. Candidates should provide evidence of commitment to excellent teaching and scholarly potential.
